Google Feud is a unique quiz game that draws inspiration from the unpredictable and often amusing world of Google search queries. Unlike Google's attempt at creating a gaming platform with Stadia, which was eventually shut down, Google Feud showcases how Google-related content can successfully be transformed into a fun and engaging game. This game is simple yet has broad appeal, making it suitable for various settings. It leverages familiar elements from daily life, allowing players to easily relate to and enjoy the gameplay. If Google ever considers re-entering the gaming world, titles like Google Feud could be a great starting point.

How to play Google Feud

Google Feud is a quiz game that revolves around guessing the endings of popular Google search queries. The game is played entirely with a mouse and keyboard, similar to navigating the Google search engine. Here’s how to get started:

  • Select a Category: The game begins with a mock-up of the Google Search web page, displaying various categories. Players select a category to start the game.
  • Guess the Query Endings: After choosing a category, players are presented with the beginning of a search query and several blocked-out endings. The goal is to guess how each query ends.
  • Enter Your Answer: Click on the search bar to type in your answer and then click the "Guess" button to submit it.
  • Scoring: Correct guesses reveal one of the blocked-out words and award points. Incorrect guesses are marked with an X.
  • Game Over: Players can make up to four incorrect guesses (X's). After the fourth X, the game reveals all the correct answers, and players can proceed to the next round.
